"Our ownership journey with 78 Victoria Street started in March 2010 and finished in August 2022 buying and selling the home through Mark O’Shea.
When we contacted Mark in 2021 to appraise the home, he was more than happy to accommodate our request knowing we had the option to sell the home off the market to a family member. Fast forward to May 2022 and our plan to sell privately was derailed so we had no hesitation in sending out an SOS to Mark, knowing the property market was entering a new phase after the first interest rate increase. After meeting Mark for the second time we were more than comfortable trusting him to manage the sale of 78 Victoria Street. He contacted the City of Bendigo planning department on our behalf about a gated laneway that had the potential to provide rear access to our property and with his encouragement, we pursued this with the council and uncovered the gateway was a legal access point. (Note: we had been previously advised it wasn’t). The flexibility of two access points into the property definitely increased buyer interest and our sale price.
